Two new Star Wars: The Last Jedi First Order vehicles were revealed today on The Star Wars Show (see above).  The two new vehicles were the AT-M6 and the The First Order Dreadnought.

The First Order AT-M6 otherwise known as the All Terrain Megacaliber Six, is the latest incarnation of the classic AT-AT.  It is known as the Megacaliber Six due to the gun jutting from the top of the vehicle.

The First Order Dreadnought is the latest iteration of the classic “Super Star Destroyer”.  The Dreadnought is a Mandatory IV class warship, which features two enormous orbital cannons.  The ship is 7,669.72 meters.  Keep in mind that the Super Star Destroyer was bigger at 19,000 meters.

Is a New Star Wars: The Last Jedi Trailer Coming in October?

Star Wars: The Last Jedi

We have all been waiting patiently on a new look at Star Wars: The Last Jedi. No news has kept us in the dark, but it seems like the darkness might be fading soon. In a response to a fan on Twitter yesterday, Mark Hamill told fans when to expect the new Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer.

The tweet was taken down not long after it went up, which could mean that this information is right on the money. If true, this timeline seems about right, especially considering the timeline that Star Wars: The Force Awakens had concerning trailer releases.

So stay tuned to the Minnesota Vikings vs. the Chicago Bears Monday, October 9th to see if we actually get the new trailer and treat this as purely speculative for now. In the meantime, check out a picture of the tweet below.

Mark Hamill Talks Playing Luke Skywalker in The Last Jedi

Mark Hamill GQ Interview

Mark Hamill talks to GQ’s Stuart McGurk about the question he hears the most often: ‘did he ever expect Star Wars to be so successful?’ before demonstrating his Chewbacca wail, professing his admiration for Benedict Cumberbatch and remaining silent on whether he uses a light saber in the new film. Mark Hamill is GQ’s Icon of the Year at the 2017 Men of the Year awards in partnership with Hugo Boss.

You can check out the video above. A bit of a side note here, Mark incorrectly refers to the “medical droid” as IG-88, instead of 2-1B.  Am I being too picky?

Enjoy the video interview above!

Joseph Gordon-Levitt in The Dark Knight Rises

While promoting Star Wars: The Last Jedi in Tokyo, Japan, director Rian Johnson revealed that actor Joseph Gordan-Levitt will have a voice-over role in the upcoming film. Johnson revealed this information during a recent fan event

“My very good friend, the actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who was in a movie I made called Looper, he does a cameo as a voice of an alien in the film. So, it’s a very brief little thing, but it’s fun and if you watch the movie maybe you’ll be able to hear and pick out Joe’s voice in the movie.”

As you can probably surmise from the information above, Gordon-Levitt starred in the film Looper which was directed by Rian Johnson. The two became friends and the rest is history.

This is just another case of star actors getting small cameo’s in the biggest franchise of all time.  2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens saw Daniel Craig cameo as a First Order Stormtrooper.
