If you are one of the many Star Wars fans who purchased the Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection and ran into many of the connection issues that have plagued the launch, then this information is for you. The team at Asypr has released a response to the game’s widespread connection issues, crashes, and failures.
We’d like to thank the Battlefront community for their overwhelming support and feedback for the STAR WARS™ Battlefront Classic Collection release. At launch, we experienced critical errors with our network infrastructure. The result was incredibly high ping, matchmaking errors, crashes, and servers not appearing in the browser. Since launch, we’ve been working to address these issues and increase network stability, and we will continue our efforts until our network infrastructure is stabilized to prevent further outages.

The team at Aspyr is on top of getting these issues corrected, but is it too little too late? There has been lots of uproar over this launch, but hopefully, it doesn’t deter people from experiencing these two great games again!
