If you are a kid of the 80’s, then you know doubt where indoctrinated into the world of toys, by some fabulous lines. If you were like me, you probably started out with Star Wars, then went to G.I. Joe, then Transformers, and ended up somewhere in Masters of the Universe and Super Powers land.
A new documentary scheduled for Netflix, hopes to bring back some of your nostalgia for those times. A Facebook page popped up in December to reveal a new documentary being made for Netflix called The Toys That Made Us. The 8 episode series will dedicate each episode to one specific toyline focusing on toys from the 80s.
A recent post showing a drawing board, seems to indicate what each show will be about (one being Star Wars, which is why we are mentioning it). The topics on the board include:
- Star Wars
- G.I. Joe
- Transformers
- Barbie
- Masters of the Universe
- Star Trek
- Hello Kitty
- Lego
No word on a release date just yet, but consider me excited! Better get those Netflix subscriptions up to date!
