The fine folks at Lucasfilm have released a small featurette showcasing the second season of Star Wars: Visions. In it Kathleen Kennedy talks about the importance of animation and the value added to Star Wars through the medium. Executive Producers James Waugh and Jacqui Lopez talked about the amazing experience from the first season and seeing the series resonate with fandom. James expressed that the first season not only touched Star Wars fans, but brought in new people that were fans of anime or the studios doing the work.
The short video also gives us a behind-the-scenes look at some of the animation and especially those cool maquettes (man would I love to get one of those.)
