A new commercial has been released from Verizon, that has a huge Star Wars slant. The new commercial features Stormtroopers, Chewbacca, a mouse droid, and BB8. The video features Chewbacca and BB8 trying to steal plans from a nondescript First Order base, when the coverage of their signal gets degraded (because they are not using Verizon). A mouse droid finds them and reports back to Stormtroopers, and then the laser bolts start flying.
The footage is not from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, so don’t watch this and think they are showing us a scene from the movie. This was specifically shot for this Verizon commercial.
