SyFy Wire has uploaded a new video to their YouTube page, which features an early look at the featurette titled “Team Chewie” that will be part of the bonus content included on the upcoming Blu-ray release for Solo: A Star Wars Story. In the snippet Skywalker Sound’s Tim Nielsen talks about designing new vocabulary used by Chewbacca throughout the movie.
To flesh out Chewbacca in Solo: A Star Wars Story, the Lucasfilm team had to add new dimensions to every part of him, including his famous voice. In this exclusive clip from the upcoming Blu-ray, Skywalker Sound’s Tim Nielsen explains how his team went looking for new sounds to add to Chewie’s vocabulary.

A Star Wars Story: Solo: A Star Wars Story, or simply Solo, is a 2018 American space western film based on Star Wars character Han Solo. Directed by Ron Howard and produced by Lucasfilm, it is the second Star Wars anthology film following Rogue One (2016). Alden Ehrenreich stars as Han Solo alongside Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Joonas Suotamo, and Paul Bettany.
