Excitement for Star Wars Rebels season 2 is hitting fever pitch right now. Youtube fan “Star Wars Minute“, created a new Rebels trailer with a nod to another of their favorite shows Firefly. Check out their accomplishment below!
I find Rebels to be very similar to Firefly, and I mean that as a compliment in every way. So I recreated the Firefly opening credits using Star Wars Rebels characters and footage!
I did my best to match each characters’ counterpart, but some proved challenging as roles like Wash and Zoe are somewhat combined in Hera. But I’m very happy with how it turned out and I hope you enjoy it!

As the second season of Star Wars Rebels opens, the crew of the Ghost is now considered a very real threat to the Empire and has caught the attention of Darth Vader himself. Undeterred, the rebels seek out old friends and add powerful allies to their cause, forming the beginnings of a more formidable alliance against the Empire.
