In just a few weeks, Star Wars fans will travel to Disneyland in California to blast off into a galaxy far, far away. The highly anticipated Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens later this month, with a Florida opening following in August at Disney World.
Disney has pulled out all the stops to create an immersive new land. While the architecture and the “lived-in” atmosphere are vital to the experience, one key element brings the entire universe together: the music.
Legendary composer John Williams, the talent behind the Skywalker saga scores, returned to compose the background music for your adventure. To help fans get ready for the grand opening, Disney Music Vevo released the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Symphonic Suite online. You can listen to the full track above.
The suite captures the spirit of the franchise without relying on classic themes for Luke Skywalker or Princess Leia. It also avoids familiar cues for the Resistance or First Order. The result is a unique sound that feels brand new yet distinctly Star Wars.
