If you were wondering why Billy Dee Williams was missing from the cast list of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and was worried that we may never see Lando Calrissian again, well do not worry. According to a new rumor by The Boston Herald, Billy Dee Williams will reprise his role in Star Wars: Episode VIII.
The Boston Herald reports that an insider told The Sun newspaper:
“It will be a fun cameo. Billy’s definitely up for it.”
If this news is accurate then fans of Lando Calrissian will be happy, but it sounds like his appearance will be more of a cameo and not a full fledge member of the story.
