Kotobukiya Reveals Din Djarin and Grogu Statue

Kotobukiya has lifted the veil off another awesome Star Wars product. This time we are getting our first look at The Mandalorian: Din Djarin and Grogu ARTFX+ statue. You can check out all the details including a gallery of images, below.

Hobby manufacturing company, Kotobukiya (Tokyo, Japan), will release an ARTFX+ statue of MANDALORIAN™ & GROGU™ with Beskar Staff from THE MANDALORIAN in August 2022.

ARTFX+ MANDALORIAN™ & GROGU™ with Beskar Staff

From the Star Wars™ live-action series, The Mandalorian™, comes a story about an extraordinary adventure between the Mandalorian™ the and Child, known as Grogu™, as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in an uncertain age.

This new release joins the ARTFX+ lineup equipped with armor and new weapons from The Mandalorian Season 2. This statue portrays the Mandalorian holding a Beskar™ spear in his right hand, and Grogu in his left, as they continue their journey together. He has been replicated in great detail while being in 1/10 scale. The statue can be displayed freely using the magnets in his feet and the steel plate in the square base.

Kotobukiya has provided several photos of the two droids. As you can see in the image gallery below, both droids come with a docking station base, as seen in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.

Kotobukiya Introduces New Captain Phasma Statue!

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! One of the most visually distinctive troopers from the entire Star Wars saga is getting an upgrade from Kotobukiya, having appeared previously as an ARTFX+ Statue and now joining the elite ranks of the 1/6th scale ARTFX series. Debuting in Star Wars Episode VII: The ForceAwakens as a leader of First Order Stormtroopers and returning to punish the traitor FN-2187 in TheLast Jedi is the sleek and stylish CAPTAIN PHASMA! Played by actress Gwendoline Christie, the captain is a commanding officer in the First Order approximately three decades after the Battle of Endor and the death of Emperor Palpatine. She survived the destruction of Starkiller Base and continued to hunt down the Resistance under the ultimate command of General Hux and Supreme Leader Snoke, even supervising the attempted execution of Finn and Rose aboard the Star Destroyer Supremacy. Captain Phasma advances menacingly, ready to crush anyone in the way of the First Order! She stands in a powerful pose, stepping forward with her head down, one hand leading the way in front of her, and the other stretched out behind her holding a wicked spear. The Captain wears her iconic Chromium Stormtrooper armor, replicated here with a special metal plating polished to a mirror sheen. Her armor is intricately detailed and features a belt with utility items, panels and decorations, and even a matching silver blaster attached to her right thigh; meanwhile, a long black cape edged in red billows out behind her making her look even more intimidating! Captain Phasma towers 16 ½ inches (1/6 scale) perpetually striding forward on a beautiful black and red display base. Recruit this captain to a position of power in your Star Wars collection!

The Kotobukiya booth at Toy Fair 2017 is popping with all sorts of new Star Wars items.  Of particular interest is the First Order Flametrooper, which looks absolutely amazing!

Kotobukiya Reveals New Repainted Yoda ARTFX Statue

It seems that Kotobukiya is about to rerelease one of their classic ARTFX+ statues.  The company recently released photos of a new repainted Yoda ARTFX Statue.  The paint app on Yoda’s skin seems to have a closer look to Yoda’s actually skin tone than the previous release.  The rerelease will include a light-up lamp and will come with two different heads.

Kotobukiya Debuts New K-2SO ARTFX Statue

Kotobukiya has finally released official photos of their first ARTFX+ statue from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.  Check out the K-2SO ARTFX Statue.

Beautifully sculpted in 1/10 scale with all the details in place, K-2SO looks like he stepped straight off the screen.  Includes magnets in the feet for extra stability on the included base.  It looks like he will cost around $80.00 and should hit next year.

Kotobukiya has released official images of their upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens Kylo Ren ARTFX Statue!

Kylo Ren looks great in this beautifully sculpted 1/7 scale statue, standing on a snow-themed base sculpted to hint at the shape of Darth Vader’s destroyed helmet. He strikes a wide, stable stance, holding his unique lightsaber (with LED light up features) raised to attack those who oppose the First Order.
