Are you anxiously awaiting the release of Star Wars: Battlefront II? Well how about a little Battlefront II news to tide you over…?
A couple of new videos have hit the Internet that detail various new gameplay aspects of EA’s Star Wars: Battlefront II. The first video details how the Loot Crate progression system works in the game and the second video touches on the subject of Star Cards.
Progressing through the game in the upcoming sequel is different from its predecessor, in that you have to open loot crates. These crates can be acquired with credits that are earned at the end of matches or by logging in once a day. The crates in the alpha build mainly contain crafting materials, credits, and Star Cards, but that may change when the game officially launches. Check out more about these crates via the video below!
Star Cards come in five different rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. A lower ranking Star Card can be upgraded from common to epic using the crafting materials, but legendary cards must be pulled from crates. These incredibly rare Star Cards have the same stat boost as the epic version, but feature a secondary bonus. Check out more about Star Cards in the video below.
