Original Trilogy Bounty Hunter to Appear in Obi-Wan Kenobi?

We have been hearing some incoming chatter coming across our various Imperial spies around the Outer Rim. Normally we would not disseminate this information to the denizens of the New Republic because we are unsure of the accuracy of the transmissions. However, we want to make sure that all information is on the table, so that you are not caught unaware in the galactic wilds! Remember to take everything below with a nice big helping of salt!

The site starwarsnewsnet has just found out an interesting piece of information, if it turns out to be true. Apparently a familiar bounty hunter from the original trilogy will be making an appearance in the upcoming Disney+ streamer, Obi-Wan Kenobi. If you do not want to be spoiled at all, then stay away from this one.

WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

Last chance…

Okay, you asked for it, so here goes…

We’ve heard from a credible source that the bounty hunter 4-LOM will make an appearance in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. We don’t know many specifics about his involvement, but we were assured he will have a bigger role than the mere seconds he spent on screen in The Empire Strikes Back.

The LOM-series protocol droid was designed with insectile features, but featured a flaw in their software. 4-LOM managed to override his programming and became a bounty hunter. His first appearance came in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back where he was one of six bounty hunters hired by Darth Vader to find the Millennium Falcon, after it escaped from the Hoth system.

Hopefully this one turns out to be true (although this guy really wants to see Bossk return). If so, what are your thoughts? Leave them in the appropriate places.

About Obi-Wan Kenobi:

The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader. The series stars Ewan McGregor, reprising his role as the iconic Jedi Master, and also marks the return of Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader. Joining the cast are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.

Start streaming the limited series May 25 on Disney+.

Video game insider Jeff Grubb took to YouTube on his show Jeff Grubb’s Game Mess, and dropped some interesting news concerning an upcoming game for Star Wars. At the 1:38:08 mark of his latest show (link below for the clip), he indicated that we will get our first look at Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 at Star Wars Celebration in May, “that’s where it is happening, 100%.”

It was just a few seconds of his almost two hour long show, but it is our first indication that we might actually be seeing something from the game soon. He went on to say he can’t remember if the game comes out at the end of this year, or early next, but he was going to ask around again, and report back at a future date.
