Over the years original Star Wars film used props have become a very hot commodity. Last year Princess Leia’s “Slave” bikini sold at a Profiles In History auction for a whopping $96,000. Each time something like this pops up, the demand and price goes up as well.

This past weekend held another auction with another rare Star Wars prop – a TIE Fighter Helmet from Star Wars: A New Hope. The TIE Fighter helmet continued the trend of hot selling Star Wars movie props, and brought in $256,000!
