Piggy-backing off news from July, Star Wars: The Last Jedi has now officially become the top selling Blu-ray release of 2018. The movie is currently topping hits like Black Panther, Thor: Ragnarok, and Coco. It has a rather substantial lead at this time of the year, so there is little reason to believe that it will not finish the year at the top. There is that little movie Avengers: Infinity War that could give it a run for its money by year’s end though.
- Star Wars: The Last Jedi 3,019,432 $69,409,409
- Black Panther 2,626,921 $59,312,352
- Thor: Ragnarok 2,342,413 $52,625,576
- Coco 2,251,849 $48,838,501
- The Greatest Showman 1,753,092 $33,840,767
- Justice League 1,546,642 $36,526,782
- Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle 1,388,472 $36,341,494
- It 921,473 $21,394,140
- Blade Runner 2049 827,421 $20,314,432
- Ferdinand 688,996
To me, and remember this is MY OPINION, this is just another reminder that the hate for this movie comes from a very vocal minority and is not the opinion of the majority. Go ahead and debate it in the comment section, as I am sure will happen.
