The Directors Guild of America has nominated Deborah Chow and her directorial team for their work on the Disney+ streamer Obi-Wan Kenobi in the ‘Movies for Television and Limited Series’ category. Her team consists of the following:
- Unit Production Managers: Thomas Hayslip, Susan McNamara
- First Assistant Director: Katterli Frauenfelder
- Second Assistant Director: Jeff Hubbard
- Second Second Assistant Directors: Isaac Mejia, Franny Stafford
- Additional Second Assistant Director: Alaina Neumann
Other nominees in this category include:
- Eric Appel – Weird: The Al Yankovic Story
- Jeremy Podeswa – Unbroken Circle of the show Station Eleven
- Helen Shaver – Who’s There from Station Eleven
- Tom Verica – The Devil Wore Anna from the show Inventing Anna.
Interestingly enough, Andor was not nominated in any category by the Directors Guild of America. Star Wars fans seem to have taken to Andor for more fondly than the highly anticipated Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
The DGA Awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, February 18, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
