The fine folks at Lucasfilm have released a new video dedicated to the terrible genetic disorder Angelman Syndrome. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story director Gareth Edwards’ niece has this rare genetic disorder, and was invited to the set of Rogue One. The video highlights the disease and the charity to help fight it, ASSERT (Angelman Syndrome Support Education & Research Trust).
The most important thing to take away from this article is that you need to watch the video and support this charity. Kids shouldn’t have to deal with these types of issues.
The second thing to take away from this video is the possible reveal of two classic trilogy character in Rogue One. Looking close at the 1:08 mark in the video, you will notice a group photo featuring a couple of X-Wing fighter pilots that will look very familiar to fans of the original trilogy.
Check out the video below…
Did you see them?
Here is a quick screen grab if you missed it.
It definitely looks like Biggs and Porkins will be featured in the film. Getting a good look at not just the characters themselves, but the helmets really drive home the fact that these are in fact the two characters. Will they have a large part in the film, or just relegated to nice cameos? I guess we will find out December 16.
