New Star Wars: Visions Pops from Funko

Since Toy Fair 2022 was cancelled, toy manufacturers are doing their best to show fans upcoming product for the year. Funko’s version of this is holding their annual (well at least since COVID derailed things) Funko Fair. Yesterday, the company showed off a few upcoming Target exclusive items, which of course you can pre-order now.

The current batch of items shown are the single release Pops Am and Karre, the box set Ronin and B5-56, and the Collector’s box which features a Ronin Pop and a tee-shirt. These items are all based on the Anime inspired Disney Plus Star Wars: Visions series.

HASBRO UPDATES RETRO-LINE RETAIL AVAILABILITY

If you are bummed because you couldn’t get to Target fast enough and grab their exclusive Star Wars Retro Figures, then cheer up! News is coming in directly from Hasbro indicating that Target will be the exclusive home for these figures for only a little while. Other retailers will have them in the Fall. NEW FUNKO RED CHROME DARTH VADER FOR MAY THE 4TH

Looking for more May the Fourth Star Wars merchandise? Well Target and Funko are teaming up to deliver an exciting new collectible. Hot off the heels of Funko’s Star Wars Celebration Chicago Blue Chrome, and shared exclusive Gold Chrome Pop!s, comes this Target exclusive Red Chrome Darth Vader.

The first bit of news is coming in, so we aren’t entirely sure if this is an online exclusive or if you can purchase it in stores as well. It does say “REDcard”, and like last year’s Red Stormtrooper we can only assume that this means it is exclusive to Target REDcard holders.

Hasbro to Release Vintage Star Wars Figure Reproductions at Target

One of Hasbro’s upcoming Toy Fair 2019 reveals will be a new line of reproduction action figures of Kenner’s original Star Wars figure releases. It seems that these will be available at Target. The first wave consists of Han Solo, Luke Skywalker Princess Leia Organa, Chewbacca, Darth Vader and Stormtrooper.

Vintage Star Wars fans shouldn’t worry too much because the carded figures feature a distressed paint application so it looks like they are old. There is no word on whether the figures themselves have any difference, but hopefully Hasbro will clear that up today.

This does make collecting loose original vintage Star Wars figures much harder now. I bet some shady people will take advantage of newer collectors, or people that just don’t realize what they are will mix and match.

Expect official information from Hasbro today. Until then, enjoy these images taken from Target’s website.

Funko Announces 10″ Porg!

Porg fans unite! Funko has just announced plans for a Target exclusive 10 inch Porg. The upcoming 10″ Pop vinyl figure was not given a price yet, so we will have to wait on that. We do know that it will be available at Target and Target.com in late April.

Following the release of the Funko Pop! Red Stormtrooper this September, Target is launching an exclsuive Star Wars Funko item: The Holographic Kylo Ren Funko POP. Starting January 5, 2018, you can nab the Target exclusive Funko Pop! holographic Kylo Ren figure on its own or in an exclusive bundle that includes a special edition t-shirt. But act fast—they’ll only be available on Target.com, while supplies last. If you like Funko Pop! and Star Wars, you won’t have to travel to a Galaxy far, far away to get similar offers after this one ends. Beginning January 5, fans and collectors alike will be able to get their hands on a new, exclusive Funko Pop! every Friday for the following eight weeks. Free Mini LEGO Millennium Falcon at Target!

Mini LEGO Millennium Falcon Set

If you are heading to Target this week, pick up some LEGO stuff and you will get a free Mini Millennium Falcon set. If you are not in the market for other LEGO sets (because you own them all), then you can still snag this for a cool $4.99.

Throughout this month Target stores in the USA are offering a different free gift with LEGO purchases each week and this week, 12-18 November, it’s this mini Millennium Falcon which is the only unique item on offer.

It’s packed in a polybag and appears to be the same as the model given away at Star Wars Celebration in 2015, which we don’t have in the database but which is included in the DK Ultimate LEGO Star Wars book. This one has a different printed plate, though.

There’s a shocking lack of quality control on the packaging: there’s a ‘n’ missing in the craft’s name and parts are, apparently, made in ‘Hungury’, among other places, according to the back of the bag.

Funko Pops are an incredible way to build a collection of your favorite film, TV, and video game characters. They are extremely affordable and look simply spectacular! Funko may have outdone themselves with their latest upcoming Pop release.

At some point, next month Target will be selling this special edition Darth Vader with TIE Fighter Deluxe POP. This is worthy of any Star Wars fan’s collection and definitely, meets the Awesomeness and AWWW criteria.  No price has been listed on the Target or Funko website yet, but when something looks that dang good then what’s a few bucks aye?

There is no word as of yet if this will be available outside of the U.S. Fans around the globe will be praying this will be flying into stores near them.

So if you’re looking to add to your Star Wars collection this June, this is a purchase that is definitely worth “Targeting”.
