FIRST LOOK AT PALPATINE IN ‘THE RISE OF SKYWALKER’ COMES FROM EXCLUSIVE GLASS ART

Fan's Choice Figure

For those not wanting to be spoiled, although this is from an official news source (of sorts), so I consider this one fair game, you may not want to continue down this thread. It will be what is most likely your first look at Palpatine from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Still here?

Okay then, let’s proceed!

With most theaters, if you have a ticket to see Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker on opening night (December 19th), then there will most likely be some sort of promotional giveaway that will net you a great souvenir to take home.

The Alamo Drafthouse has been a staple for cinema goers around the country, and their theaters offer an awesome movie/dining experience. With the debut of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the company is also offering up an awesome souvenir that you can purchase with your ticket (the glasses will be available only for a short time) – Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker glasses.

The new glasses come in two different flavors, the Light Side and the Dark Side. Artist Cesar Moreno’s designs depict the Light Side and Dark Side – the choice is all you. (But, of course, you can always grab both.) The Dark Side glasses feature what is most likely our first look at Emperor Palpatine from the film.

Keep in mind that while the Dark Side glass does feature the Emperor, this could be an artistic license situation with the artist, as he may not have been privy to an actual photo before being commissioned for the work. However, I think it is fairly likely that this will be what he looks like in the film.

So, without further ado, here is your (possible) first look at the Emperor in the upcoming film… Turn away if you do not want to be spoiled!
