Medicom Toy has officially revealed their latest addition to the Star Wars lineup. The villainous Imperial leader returns with the MAFEX Moff Gideon (No. 301) action figure. This new release captures his look from the third season of The Mandalorian. Fans have waited for a high-end version of this specific armor for a long time. The figure showcases the character in his menacing black Mandalorian-inspired Beskar suit.

Authentic Design and Articulation

The MAFEX Moff Gideon figure stands approximately 6.1 inches tall. This height makes him perfectly scaled for most 6-inch figure collections. Medicom Toy uses high-quality PVC and ABS materials for the construction. The sculpt reflects the intricate details of the Dark Trooper armor seen on screen.

Articulation is a primary focus for the MAFEX line. This figure includes a wide range of motion in the joints. You can pose Gideon in many dynamic combat stances. The ball-jointed neck and shoulders allow for very expressive movements. Collectors will find it easy to recreate his iconic duels from the show.

Premium Accessories and Features

This release is packed with a variety of accessories. It includes three different interchangeable head parts for multiple display options. One head features the sleek, horned Mandalorian helmet. The other two provide unmasked portraits of actor Giancarlo Esposito. These portraits capture his stern and calculating expression perfectly.

The figure also comes with a real fabric cape. Fabric capes are a favorite among collectors because they hang naturally. You will also receive several weapon options for the Moff. The set includes his signature blaster pistol and a Force lance.

Release Date and Pricing

The MAFEX Moff Gideon is currently available for pre-order for $129 USD at BigBadToyStore. Most retailers list the expected release date as December 2026. This means fans have some time to save up for the purchase.

MAFEX Star Wars FN-2187 Figure Announced

Medicom has just released official photos of their upcoming MAFEX Star Wars FN-2187 figure. FN-2187 stands at 6.3″ tall with swappable bloody masked and an unmasked head sculpts. Also included is an articulated figures stand, a blaster pistol and a blaster rifle.

This new MAFEX Star Wars FN-2187 Figure is expected to be released in May. You can expect to pay around $50 for the figure.

Medicom has released official photos and information for their upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story MAFEX Death Trooper action figure.

The upcoming figure was sculpted by PERFECT-STUDIO, will stand just over 6″ tall and will be fully articulated. The Death Trooper action figure will include a removable shoulder pauldron, multiple interchangeable hands, two different Death Trooper helmets, two different blaster rifles, a blaster pistol, and an articulated figure stand.

The MAFEX Death Trooper action figure is scheduled for release in August of 2017. It will be priced at around the usual $50 to $60 range.

Official Photos of MAFEX Star Wars C-3PO and R2-D2

The Medicom MAFEX Star Wars C-3PO and R2-D2 figures were first revealed at Summer Wonder Festival 2015, and now the company is ready to give the full reveal of both figures.  The figures are about 6″ scale, where C-3PO stands around 5.8″ tall and R2-D2 stands around 3.4″ tall.  The two-pack will be released in May 2016 and cost around $85.00.

C-3PO will come with interchangeable hands (one with a communicator attached) and a figure stand.  R2-D2 will include his serving tray from the classic Jabba the Hutt’s sailing barge scene in Return of the Jedi, a swappable third leg, and a holographic Princess Leia.
