Han Solo Filming in Fuerteventura in May

If you are dying to be in a Star Wars film, and you live in or near the area of Fuerteventura, then you are in luck!  According to a recent Facebook post from Caleta Fuerteventura, a new Star Wars film (Young Han Solo) will be filming in the area for 3 weeks in May.  The Han Solo filming is taking place around Cofete and La Pared.

It seems that filming is moving along.  Hopefully we should get a trailer for the film sometime this Fall, if not sooner.

About the Han Solo Film:

The upcoming Han Solo film will be directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. It will be produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur, and Simon Emanuel. The film stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Emilia Clarke, Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Woody Harrelson as Garris Shrike (unconfirmed). The movie hits theaters May 25, 2018.

Daisy Ridley Talks Atmosphere of Episode 8 Filming

While we are still a little less than two years away from the debut of Star Wars Episode VIII, filming has started and just a tiny bit of information is coming from the set.  Entertainment Tonight recently caught up with actress Daisy Ridley, and asked her about the atmosphere on set now that Rian Johnson has taken the mantle of the next Star Wars film.

The actress indicated that we may get a tad bit more to whet our appetites this time around, until the film releases in December of 2017.  Check out the short video below.
