If Disney bummed you out by scrapping Star Wars Weekends at their parks, then maybe the following news will come as a pleasant surprise.  LEGOLAND Florida just announced Star Wars Days coming to their park!  The event will take place September 10 and 11.

A LEGO Star Wars Miniland Model Display will be in the park, featuring seven scenes from the movie series and a scene from the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The display is made out of 1.5 million Lego bricks.

The weekend also includes an session with Lego Star Wars set designer Jens Kronvold Frederiksen and Master Model Builders.

Kids can meet LEGO Darth Vader, learn LEGO building tips from our Master Model Builders as they create LEGO Star Wars sets, help create a giant LEGO Star Wars mural and dress up as their favorite Jedi, Sith, droid, smuggler, scavenger or Stormtrooper during a fun, interactive costume parade! And, a Yoda scavenger hunt go on you will; through the Star Wars Miniland model display! It’s all here at the place #BuiltForKids, and it’s all included with admission! No extra ticket or Jedi mind tricks required!
