It really doesn’t seem like all that long ago that Star Wars was hitting theaters and making a big splash in pop culture. It also doesn’t seem so long ago that I had not quite reached my first birthday when that film debuted (man time flies!). The company passed along this press release announcing their 50 year anniversary.
The year-long celebration will include commemorative merchandise, new games, books, products, and more!

2021 marks the 50th anniversary of Lucasfilm. The celebration will kick off with commemorative, fan-favorite 50th anniversary Star Wars products. The launch starts in January and will continue throughout the year with special edition product releases.
