Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 took home two Annie Awards at last night’s event. The annual awards ceremony honors animation across film, television, and video games. Star Wars: Visions volume 2 was honored for Best Music and Best Direction.
The Star Wars winners included Cartoon Saloon and Paul Young, whom took home the award for Best Direction for the Screecher’s Reach episode. Triggerfish’s Markus Wormstorm, Nadia Darries, and Dineo Du Toit won Best Music for their work on Aau’s Song.
These winners were but two of a total of six nominees for the series. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse took home the biggest prizes along with the Netflix streamer Blue Eye Samurai.
