Star Wars: The Last Jedi not only brought in $45 million on Thursday night, but it also scored another achievement, that might bode well for the film during award season.
Earlier today the Critics’ Choice Awards announced Star Wars: The Last Jedi had received the renowned Critic’s Choice Seal Of Distinction. The Critics’ Choice Awards are bestowed annually by the Broadcast Film Critics Association and Broadcast Television Journalists Association to honor the finest cinematic and televised achievements.
Could this mean that the movie will be up for Oscars other than the technical ones that most Star Wars movies have been nominated before? Could Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, or Adam Driver be in the running for something special? Stay tuned!
