Take this with a huge grain of salt, but the source is usually a good source to get information from, so that is why it is newsworthy. According to Steven Weintraub over at Collider, we should be getting a teaser trailer for Star Wars: Episode IX. He goes on to add that it will most likely be before Christmas.

If you look at what Disney is doing, they are sort of going trailer crazy right now. Monday saw the second trailer for Captain Marvel, Thursday we will be getting an Avengers 4 trailer and supposedly Friday/this weekend, we will have a Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer.

He also indicates that we should be getting a Frozen 2 trailer as well (for you Disney fans out there) before Christmas.

Again take this with a huge grain of salt, but this does fall in line with what Disney did with Star Wars: The Force Awakens, although that first teaser was in November instead of December. The rumor is enough to get us excited for an early Star Wars Christmas present though.
