Josh Horowitz from MTV News recently had a chance to chat with Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson at CinemaCon, and asked the director about his expectations for the upcoming ninth film in the Star Wars saga.
Of course his answer probably reflects thoughts of fans around the world. There was also a question about J.J. Abrams retconning some of what Rian did with the last film, and Johnson addressed that as well.

The cast includes Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, and Billie Lourd.
