Monday we saw the debut of the final official Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer, and today we get a look at the official IMAX poster for the film! AMC recently launched an incentive for viewers to catch The Force Awakens in IMAX. The theater chain has offered up exclusive posters for IMAX viewers who attend Sunday showings between Dec. 20 and Jan. 10. As you can see from the bottom of the poster below, this one is 1 of 4.
At the end of the day for The Force Awakens opening day ticket pre-orders, the film finished as the all-time leader in ticket sales, beating out the previous number one, Hunger Games by eight times the number of tickets sold! IMAX pre-orders have already amassed a record 6.5 million as well! It seems Star Wars fever is back!
