If you thought we know everything about casting for Rogue One already, then think again.  While talking with Belfast Live, actress Valene Kane talked about landing a role in Rogue One.  Apparently she will be playing the role of the lead character’s (Jyn Erso) mother.  Her name in the film is Lyra Erso, so that makes her Galen’s (Mads Mikkelsen) wife.

The actress had this to say about landing her role in the film:

I grew up watching Stars Wars and I didn’t believe it was happening until I was filming in Iceland. It has a really edgy independent vibe.

In reality, Kane is actually a few years younger than Felicity Jones, so I am assuming (and we know what happens when we do that), that she will be featured in flashback scenes and not in the present timeline of the film.  I guess we will have to wait until the film hits, before we can know for sure!
