Once again, new Star Wars content has split the fanbase. The Book of Boba Fett has fans split between loving it and the other half calling it boring storytelling. Either way you look at it, you can’t argue that the demand for the series has been great.
According to a new article from The Wrap, the locked behind a paywall article indicates that the series was the most in-demand series for the week of February 19-25, 2002 (the latest data that can be pulled). Trailing behind is HBO Max’s hit series Peacemaker, a spin-off of James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. The two series debuted around the same time, so this information is quite telling.
Weeks after the season finale of the show, The Book of Boba Fett is still performing very well! In fact, it is outperforming every streaming series available right now.
Check out the embedded tweet below from Parrot Analytics showing the data for the top steaming titles right now.
While the show is successful, it wasn’t quite as successful as the second season of The Mandalorian, but the season finale was viewed more than the season finale of The Mandalorian season 2. Does this mean we will be getting a second season of The Book of Boba Fett? In my opinion, I think we do, but you never know…
