After Lucasfilm’s official announcement last week that revealed Donald Glover had been cast as young Lando Calrissian in the upcoming young Han Solo standalone film, the actor made an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show to chat about his upcoming role.
The role of Lando Calrissian was originally made famous by Billy Dee Williams in The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Star Wars Rebels, and the occasional Vegas slot machine… Glover has a lot to live up to, but if anyone can do it, I think he can.

About the Han Solo Film:
The upcoming Han Solo film will be directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. The film stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo and Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian. The movie hits theaters May 25, 2018.
