Star Wars Celebration 2025 Location Announced!

Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025

Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 just wrapped up and boy what a Celebration it was! As with each Star Wars Celebration closing ceremony, Lucasfilm announces the location of the next Star Wars Celebration convention. As it turns out, we will have to wait two years until the next one, but it is back April 18-20, 2025, in Japan!

There will be a new Star Wars film in 2025 (most likely the announced film which brings back Daisy Ridley as Rey Skywalker), so there should be a lot of hype surrounding the Japan event. It also seems that Lucasfilm is trying to really push the franchise internationally with this surprising move. The last time Celebration was in Asia was in 2008. Before this year’s Celebration and the one in 2025, the convention was held mostly in the US with a few outliers here and there… I must say I am a bit disappointed by this move.
