NEW POSTERS AND TRAILER FOR ‘THE MANDALORIAN’ ARRIVE

The hype for The Mandalorian, the first live action series for Star Wars, is getting real! Tonight sees a brand new trailer for the series, as well as several new posters promoting the show on Disney’s brand new streaming service, Disney Plus.

Each of the new posters focuses on a single character from the series, presumably the main cast. Posters include The Mandalorian, Cara Dune, Greef Carga, IG-11, and an ugnaught that we think is played by Nick Nolte, but we do not have a name for yet.

About The Mandalorian:

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. “The Mandalorian” is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic. The series will be written and executive produced by Emmy-nominated producer and actor Jon Favreau, as previously announced, with Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels) directing the first episode. Additional episodic directors include Deborah Chow (Jessica Jones), Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), Bryce Dallas Howard (Solemates), and Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok). It will be executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist will serve as co-executive producer.

The Mandalorian debuts November 12, 2019 on the Disney+ streaming service!

New Character Posters for Solo: A Star Wars Story

Not only did we get the first full trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story this morning, but the fine folks at Lucasfilm also released a few character posters for the film. The character posters feature each of (what we think) are the main characters in the film – Han Solo, Lando Calrissian, Qi’Ra, and Chewbacca.

About the Han Solo Film:

Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.

The film will be directed by Ron Howard, and will be produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur, and Simon Emanuel. The film stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Emilia Clarke, Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Woody Harrelson.

Solo: A Star Wars Story releases in U.S. theaters on May 25, 2018.

New Star Wars: The Last Jedi Promotional Artwork Features Characters and Ships from the film

Now that Force Friday II has come and gone, we can begin dissecting some of the new information we have concerning the film. During the event, loads of new Star Wars: The Last Jedi promotional artwork was released. Some of this artwork gives us new looks at some of the characters and ships that will be featured in the film.

There are roughly 40ish new posters, pictures, and schematics in the preview images below. Enjoy and give us your thoughts on what some of the new pictures might reveal about the film.

8 New Japanese Rogue One Character Posters

Lucasfilm has just released 8 9 new Japanese Rogue One Character Posters for your online viewing pleasure. It looks as if there will be several more items to add to that International Star Wars collection you have been working on.

The hype is now at full throttle for the film, and you can most likely expect even more of this type of stuff over the course of the next few weeks. The time is almost here folks!
