In season two of “LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures,” the three Freemaker siblings—Rowan, Kordi and Zander—have found a new home with the Rebel fleet. But working with the Rebels in their fight to bring down the Empire brings them face to face with brutal Imperial forces, desperate Hutts, conniving Sith Lords and the Emperor’s latest plaything, M-OC.

Fans who bring home the second and final season will enjoy all 12 action-packed episodes plus five bonus shorts that follow the Freemakers as they are thrown into battle after they join up with the Rebels – including an adventure that has them embarking on a daring mission to save two of the Rebellion’s finest heroes: Lando Calrissian and Chewbacca. LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures Season 2

“LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures,” the Emmy®-nominated animated television series on Disney XD, is set between Stars Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and stars three siblings who scour the galaxy for useful debris that they use to build new vehicles of their own design. Rowan Freemaker is a spunky Force-sensitive 12-and-a-half-year-old with a thirst for adventure; his quick-witted older sister, Kordi, manages the family business and is the glue that holds the family together; ace pilot and charming rogue, Zander, is the oldest brother and the family’s self-proclaimed starship connoisseur; and R0-GR is their refurbished battle droid from the Clone Wars. When Rowan has visions of an ancient and powerful Jedi starship called The Arrowhead, he and his family set out on an epic quest to rebuild it so they can turn the tide of battle for the Rebellion. Together, they explore new worlds, meet new characters and Star Wars icons, and have unforgettable adventures.

Good news for fans of LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures!  According to a new press release, the second season of the show will debut June 17 to Disney XD.

“LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures” returns SATURDAY, JUNE 17 (11:00 a.m. ET/PT) with a preview of the first episode of season two – “Trouble on Tibalt.”

The season premieres MONDAY, JULY 31 (7:00 a.m. ET/PT) with new episodes every Monday through Thursday at7:00 a.m. ET/PT thereafter until Wednesday, August 16th.

NEW Interviews with Eugene Byrd (“Zander Freemaker”), Bill Motz and Bob Roth (series EP’s) on the Star Wars Show.

At the end of the first season, the Freemaker family found a new home with the Rebel fleet. Their new circumstances bring them face to face with brutal Imperial forces, desperate Hutts, conniving Sith Lords, and the Emperor’s latest plaything, M-OC, a terrifying hunter droid who continually modifies himself to fit any occasion. In response to these threats, Rowan’s powers grow and strengthen until he has a vision of a sleek, invulnerable ship that can save the Rebellion and stop the Empire in its tracks – the Arrowhead. The catch is, the Arrowhead is a ship only Rowan can build. Once again, it’s up to the youngest Freemaker to save the galaxy.

During 2016, “LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures” ranked as the network’s #2 animated series among Kids 2-11 and Boys 2-11 demographics, reaching over 55 million Total Viewers across the U.S., including over 21 million Kids 2-14 and more than 20 million Adults 18-49.

With all those Emmy noms, it looks like it is time to announce LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures season 2 on DisneyXD.  The official Star Wars website has announced the new season with a teaser clip and several images.

This summer, the Freemakers strike back.

LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures will return for a second season on Disney XD, Disney and Lucasfilm announced today. Set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, the action comedy series follows the Freemakers — Rowan, Kordi, and Zander — a family of sibling scavengers who operate a salvage and repair shop in space. The show recently received four Daytime Emmy nominations, and season two, coming this summer, continues the story of the Freemakers as they join the Rebellion in their fight against the Empire.

Marc Buhaj, senior vice president, Programming and general manager, Disney XD, said, “The series creators expertly deliver an equal amount of comedy and signature Star Wars adventure into their storytelling. We’re looking forward to bringing our viewers a brand new season of galactic adventures with the Freemaker family throughout summer.”

LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures has just been nominated for four Daytime Emmy awards!  This is just another reason for Star Wars fans to check out the show, especially if you haven’t seen it yet.  The show is currently in reruns until next season, but can be seen on Disney XD.
