New Star Wars The Vintage Collection Obi-Wan Kenobi & Clone Trooper 2-Pack Revealed for Walmart Collector Con 2026

Star Wars The Vintage Collection 2-pack featuring Obi-Wan Kenobi (Utapau) and an Airborne Clone Trooper from the 212th Battalion.

The hunt is over for 3.75-inch scale collectors. As part of the Walmart Collector Con 2026 event, Hasbro has officially unveiled a highly anticipated addition to the 3.75-inch lineup: the Star Wars The Vintage Collection Obi-Wan Kenobi & Clone Trooper action figure 2-pack. This set is now confirmed to be a tribute to the climactic Battle of Utapau from Revenge of the Sith.

A Tribute to the Siege of Utapau

This exclusive release focuses on the pivotal moment when the 212th Attack Battalion, led by Commander Cody and General Obi-Wan Kenobi, descended upon the sinkhole city of Pau City to confront General Grievous. The set includes two key figures essential for recreating these prequel-era scenes: General Obi-Wan Kenobi (Utapau) and a specialized 212th Battalion Airborne Clone Trooper.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is featured in his classic Jedi robes, complete with the premium “photoreal” face deco and high level of articulation that fans expect from the modern Vintage Collection. Joining him is the fan-favorite Airborne Trooper, distinguished by his unique helmet sculpt and specialized gear designed for high-altitude drops.

Exclusive Packaging for Collectors

One of the standout features of this release is the packaging style. Following a trend seen in recent multipacks, this set comes in a closed-box outer package featuring cinematic diorama photography. However, inside the box, the figures are housed on individual Kenner-style cardbacks, complete with their own unique “VC” numbers. This dual-layered approach is designed to satisfy both “openers” who want the classic carded look for their walls and “in-box” collectors who appreciate the premium protective outer packaging.

Accessories and Details

True to the high standards of the line, both figures come with character-specific accessories. Obi-Wan Kenobi includes his signature blue-bladed lightsaber and an alternate “Force” hand to recreate his iconic combat stances. The Airborne Clone Trooper is battle-ready with both a long blaster rifle and a shorter blaster carbine. The deco on the trooper features the signature orange markings of the 212th, applied with the precision and weathering details that have made the recent 3.75-inch clones a hit among fans.

Availability and Pre-Order Information

The Star Wars The Vintage Collection Obi-Wan Kenobi & Clone Trooper 2-pack is a Walmart exclusive, retailing for $32.80. As part of the Collector Con festivities, the set is expected to be a high-demand item for those looking to build out their Episode III displays. They go live on March 19, at 7am PST.

For fans of the 212th Attack Battalion, this release provides a perfect opportunity to add an elite paratrooper to their ranks alongside one of the greatest Jedi Generals of the Republic. As the Vintage Collection continues to celebrate the legacy of the prequel trilogy, this Utapau-themed set stands out as a highlight for the 2026 collecting year. Be sure to secure your pre-order early, as these specialized sets have a history of moving quickly once the “collector” event begins.

New Star Wars The Vintage Collection Leak: Amazon Canada Lists Baze Malbus Figure

A detailed action figure of Baze Malbus from Star Wars Rogue One, part of The Vintage Collection, featuring his heavy repeating cannon and signature red and tan combat gear against an orange gradient background.

UPDATE – According to Hasbro Pulse, this item will go up for pre-order March 12!

In the world of action figure collecting, some of the biggest news doesn’t come from a press release or a high-production “Fanstream,” but rather from the back-end databases of major retailers. This week, a significant Star Wars The Vintage Collection leak occurred when Amazon Canada accidentally published a product page for a new Baze Malbus figure.

The listing, which has since been making waves across social media and collector forums, features the product code G25335L0 and the placeholder name “VIN Starry.” The “VIN” clearly denotes “Vintage.”

Who is Baze Malbus?

Baze Malbus is a battle-hardened warrior and a central figure in the heist of the Death Star plans during the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Once a devoted Guardian of the Whills at the Temple of the Kyber on Jedha, Baze’s faith in the Jedi and the Force was shattered when the Empire occupied his homeworld and stripped the temple of its sacred crystals. This loss transformed him from a spiritual protector into a pragmatic, heavily armed mercenary. Despite his outward cynicism and lack of belief in the “mystical energy field,” he remained fiercely loyal to his companion Chirrut Îmwe, serving as the physical shield and sharpshooter for the blind monk.

In combat, Baze is defined by his proficiency with heavy weaponry, most notably his M-45 Repeating Bolt System. This massive, custom-built blaster is linked to a high-capacity power backpack by a signature ammunition belt, allowing him to lay down suppressing fire against waves of Stormtroopers. Though he initially joined the Rebel cause out of necessity and loyalty to Chirrut, his journey culminated in a selfless stand on the beaches of Scarif. His sacrifice, alongside the rest of the Rogue One crew, ensured the survival of the Rebellion and the eventual destruction of the Empire’s ultimate weapon.

What This Means for TVC Fans

For those tracking the Star Wars The Vintage Collection leak, this Amazon Canada slip-up is more than just a glitch; it’s a roadmap. When these listings appear, it usually indicates that the physical product is already in the shipping pipeline or sitting in a distribution warehouse awaiting a “street date.” This one will most likely be revealed by Hasbro at their next big online event.

Collectors should keep a close eye on Hasbro Pulse and major Fan Channel retailers over the next few weeks. Often, when a major retailer like Amazon leaks a listing, Hasbro is forced to move up their official reveal to get ahead of the grainy “in-hand” photos that inevitably follow.

The Vintage Collection continues to be the premier line for fans who value the classic Kenner-style card backs and high levels of articulation. Despite the rising costs of collecting, the community remains dedicated to the 3.75-inch scale. A new leak like this provides a spark of excitement, proving that Hasbro still has plenty of surprises left for 2026.

As of this writing, the Amazon Canada page remains a “ghost” listing, often appearing as “Currently Unavailable.” However, the data is out there, and the countdown to the official “Baze Malbus” pre-order has officially begun. Stay tuned to Outer Rim News as we continue to track this story and provide updates the moment Hasbro makes it official.

Hasbro Reveals New Star Wars The Black Series Maul Shadow Lord and More

Black Series Devon Izara vs. Maul

The criminal underworld of the Star Wars galaxy is about to get a major upgrade. Today, Hasbro Pulse officially pulled back the curtain on an awesome new wave of 6-inch scale figures, headlined by a version of the former Sith apprentice that fans have been clamoring for: Maul Shadow Lord.

This latest reveal from The Black Series captures Maul at the height of his power within the Shadow Collective, bridging the gap between the chaos of the Clone Wars and the rise of the Galactic Empire. For collectors and Star Wars fans, this wave represents a deep dive into the lore of Mandalore, the Inquisitorius, and the shifting allegiances of a galaxy in turmoil.

The Rise of the Shadow Lord

The standout of the announcement is undoubtedly the Maul Shadow Lord figure. As the social media teaser noted, “Power doesn’t vanish. It regroups in the shadows.” This figure represents Maul not as the apprentice to Darth Sidious, but as a master of his own destiny.

The 6-inch scale figure features Maul in his “Shadow Lord” attire, looking calculated and lethal. One of the most exciting features for fans is the inclusion of his signature twin red blades, which can ignite into his iconic double-bladed lightsaber staff. The sculpt appears to capture the weary, hardened expression of a warrior who has survived the fall of the Republic and is now building an empire of his own beyond the Emperor’s reach.

Mandalore and the Inquisitorius Join the Fray

While Maul is the headliner, he isn’t arriving alone. Hasbro is bolstering the ranks of the Shadow Collective and the Empire with three additional figures:

  • Rook Kast: A fan-favorite from the Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir comic and The Clone Wars Season 7, Rook Kast arrives in her striking Mandalorian armor. The figure is “battle-ready” with sharp, uncompromising lines and her signature jetpack, serving as the muscle to enforce Maul’s will across the stars.
  • The Eleventh Brother: Expanding the ranks of the Jedi hunters, the Eleventh Brother joins the Black Series line. Complete with a flowing cape and the sinister rotating double-bladed saber of the Inquisitorius, this figure is a must-have for those looking to recreate the dark times of the Great Jedi Purge.
  • Devon Izara: A fresh face in the conflict, Devon Izara enters the line equipped with a steady blue lightsaber. Caught between allegiances in a galaxy reshaped by war, this character adds a layer of mystery and storytelling potential to any shelf display.

Pre-Order Information

Collectors won’t have to wait long to secure these figures for their own collections. Pre-orders for the Maul Shadow Lord, Rook Kast, Eleventh Brother, and Devon Izara are scheduled to go live tomorrow, March 5th, beginning at 1:00 pm ET.

These figures will be available on Hasbro Pulse and are expected to be sold separately. Given the high demand for Mandalorian-centric characters and unique Maul variants, fans are encouraged to be ready the moment the clock strikes one to ensure they don’t miss out on these underworld legends.

Pre-Order the Star Wars Black Series Plo Koon and Commander Wolffe 2-Pack Now

STAR WARS The Black Series Plo Koon & Clone Commander Wolffe

The Jedi Council and the Grand Army of the Republic are reuniting in 6-inch scale. Hasbro has officially opened pre-orders for the highly anticipated Star Wars Black Series Plo Koon and Commander Wolffe 2-Pack, the latest addition to the “Clones of the Republic” sub-line.

For fans of The Clone Wars, this set represents one of the most iconic Commander/General pairings in the series. Plo Koon, the wise Kel Dor Jedi Master, and CC-3636 (better known as Commander Wolffe), the hardened leader of the 104th “Wolfpack” Battalion, are essential pieces for any Prequel-era shelf.

A Closer Look at the Wolfpack Duo

Jedi Master Plo Koon returns with his signature flowing brown robes and detailed breather mask. Known for his “Plo’s Bros” moniker among his clones, the figure features the premium articulation fans expect from the Black Series, allowing for dynamic lightsaber poses. He comes equipped with his iconic blue lightsaber, ready to lead the charge against Separatist forces.

Commander Wolffe is the standout for many collectors in this set. This version of Wolffe features his Phase II armor, complete with the distinctive grey Wolfpack markings and his rangefinder-equipped helmet. The figure includes his dual DC-17 blaster pistols and features a removable helmet to reveal the scarred, one-eyed portrait of the veteran commander. The “Clones of the Republic” packaging further elevates the set, using a specialized window-box design that looks just as good on a wall as the figures do on a shelf.

Commander Wolffe remains one of the most popular clones in the Star Wars mythos, appearing in The Clone Wars, Rebels, and the The Bad Batch. His loyalty to Plo Koon was legendary, making this 2-pack a poetic inclusion in the Black Series lineup.

Pre-Order Information and Availability

The Star Wars Black Series Plo Koon and Commander Wolffe 2-Pack is priced at approximately $55.99 and is expected to ship in late Spring 2026.

Pre-orders are currently live at Hasbro Pulse. Given the popularity of the Wolfpack and the high demand for Jedi/Clone pairings, this set is expected to sell out quickly. Collectors are encouraged to secure their pre-orders early to avoid the “aftermarket tax” that often hits these specialized 2-packs.

Expanding Your Republic Collection

As we march toward the summer, Hasbro continues to bolster the ranks of the Republic. With the recent reveals of the Imperial Remnant wave for The Mandalorian & Grogu, it’s refreshing to see the Black Series return to the height of the Clone Wars.

Stay tuned to Outer Rim News for more updates on upcoming Hasbro Star Wars reveals, and let us know in the comments, will you be adding the Plo Koon and Commander Wolffe 2-pack to your collection?

The Empire Strikes Your Wallet: How Tariffs Are Affecting Star Wars Collectors

Tariff High Ground Image

Whether you’re a seasoned collector with a room full of vintage Kenner figures or just started hunting down Black Series exclusives at midnight Target runs, one thing is becoming clear: the real villain in the Star Wars collecting galaxy might not be the Empire or the Sith — it could be tariffs. As global trade tensions heat up, collectors are feeling the squeeze in their wallets, and the effects are starting to show on shelves, in pre-orders, and across the aftermarket.

Several toy companies like Funko, Mattel, and Hasbro have announced that pricing will rise very soon. Hasbro has put up a notice on hasbropulse.com that states buyers need to lock-in pre-order pricing as current pre-orders end May 9th at 12:01AM EDT. Most have speculated that costs are going up after that date. Funko released a statement yesterday regarding their pricing.

Toy dealers like Big Bad Toy Store, have sent out emails to customers stating their prices will soon reflect current tariffs imposed on items.

But what about us the collectors? How will it affect us? Here’s how this hidden menace is impacting Star Wars fandom, one import tax at a time.

What Are Tariffs and Why Do They Matter?

At their core, tariffs are taxes imposed by a government on goods imported from other countries. These taxes are typically intended to protect domestic industries, reduce trade deficits, or retaliate against unfair trade practices. But for fans and collectors of imported goods — like Star Wars collectibles — tariffs can have unintended consequences that hit close to home (and hard in the wallet).

Most Star Wars merchandise sold in the U.S. is manufactured in countries like China, Vietnam, and Mexico, where companies like Hasbro, LEGO, and Hot Toys produce toys, figures, apparel, and high-end replicas. When the U.S. government increases tariffs on toys or consumer goods from these regions, importers and manufacturers are forced to pay more to get those products into the country.

That increased cost doesn’t just disappear — it often gets passed down the supply chain:

  • Manufacturers may raise their wholesale prices.
  • Retailers (like Target, Walmart, and specialty toy stores) then raise the sticker price to maintain their margins.
  • And finally, collectors like us end up paying more for the same items.

Even though these policies might not be targeted at the toy industry specifically, collectibles are caught in the crossfire. What’s especially frustrating is that these price hikes are often subtle and cumulative — a $20 figure becomes $23, then $25, and suddenly entire waves of products are out of reach for budget-conscious fans.

Tariffs also create unpredictability. Toy companies might delay product lines, reduce production runs, or even cancel releases to avoid paying increased fees. That means fewer figures on shelves, more competition for limited stock, and a more expensive collecting experience overall.

Impact on the Secondary Market

As retail prices climb due to tariffs, the secondary market — places like eBay, Whatnot, Mercari, Facebook groups, and specialty collector forums — is undergoing a noticeable shift. But it’s not just about prices rising; it’s about how collector behavior is evolving in response to an increasingly unstable marketplace.

One major change is the perception of value. Collectors are becoming more strategic, viewing older or previously overlooked items as better investments. Figures once considered “peg-warmers” or mass-market releases are now being snapped up because their re-release might be delayed — or canceled entirely — due to higher production costs. This could lead to an uptick in demand for loose figures, incomplete sets, or previously low-interest variants.

Star Wars: The Black Series Stormtroopers on eBay
Star Wars: The Black Series Stormtroopers on eBay

Additionally, international buyers — especially in regions not affected by the same tariff hikes — are turning to U.S. sellers to fill their collections. This has created a unique window for domestic resellers who now find that even mid-tier collectibles can fetch strong prices overseas. As a result, some collectors are becoming part-time flippers, using secondary sales to fund their own collections in a tougher economy.

However, volatility is also increasing. As market prices swing based on production delays, exclusivity, or sudden demand spikes, collectors are facing more FOMO-driven bidding wars, often on items that were easily accessible just months prior. Conversely, when overproduction meets soft demand, some collectibles are seeing steep price drops, creating uncertainty about what’s truly “worth” holding onto.

The result? A more active but unpredictable aftermarket, where timing and community knowledge are everything. The days of casually browsing eBay for a deal might be fading, replaced by vigilant price tracking, collector-to-collector trades, and fast-paced auctions with razor-thin margins.

What Can Collectors Do?

You can’t control the economy, but you can take steps to lessen the impact:

  • Pre-order early to lock in current pricing.
  • Support local stores who might offer flexible deals.
  • Buy in groups to reduce shipping and import costs.
  • Stay active in collector communities to monitor trends.

Star Wars collectors have always been resilient — from hunting vintage Kenner toys to waiting on Sideshow waitlists. But tariffs are a new Sith Lord to contend with. Be informed, plan ahead, and pray to the Force that things deescalate soon.

What are you going to do regarding your collecting habits. Will you scale back what you purchase for your collection? Will you just keep buying at the same rate? Perhaps you quit collecting altogether? Share your strategy with us and leave your thoughts in the comment section below.
