New Cal Kestis Lightsaber Hilt Coming on Star Wars Day!

If you are a collector of lightsaber hilts, then you are in for a treat! ShopDisney has announced a brand new Cal Kestis lightsaber hilt, based on the look from Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Last year saw our first version of this lightsaber released at the parks, but it was definitely based on the first game. You can tell this one is from the sequel with a sleeker finish than the first.

Of course Disney has not released pricing on this one yet, but you should probably expect to pay around the same price as other lightsaber hilts you can find in Dok Ondar’s store at Galaxy’s Edge.

You can purchase the new hilt on May 4th at 8am PT / 11am ET for Star Wars Day.

Cal Kestis Lightsaber

Add a special touch to every wish on your list because only here, every day of the year… there’s magic. Magic Awaits

Cal Kestis Legacy Saber Coming to Disney Parks!

A brand new legacy lightsaber is about to hit Disney World and Disney Land at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities. If you aren’t familiar with legacy lightsabers, they are really just authentic replicas of the movie lightsabers, that allow you to add the FX blade to it.

You’ll be able to add Cal Kestis’ Legacy Lightsaber Hilt inspired by STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order to your collection when it arrives at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge this Friday!

Cameron Monaghan, the actor who plays Cal Kestis in the critically acclaimed Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order video game, recently journeyed to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort and got the full Star Wars experience while checking out the Cal Kestis legacy lightsaber hilt. You can add this legacy lightsaber hilt to your personal collection when it arrives at Dok-Ondar’s on March 25, 2022, only at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort!

Those familiar with Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order will recognize the broken end design since Cal Kestis acquires the lightsaber after the weapon is damaged and is only capable of emitting a single blade. When you purchase this distinct lightsaber hilt, it comes with a dual lightsaber adapter, so you can recreate the original double-bladed design reminiscent of when the lightsaber was owned by Cal’s Master, Jaro Tapal, when you purchase a second hilt.

I just came back from Disney World and picked up a Legacy lightsaber, but I really wish this was one of the options to choose from two weeks ago! Will you be picking this one up for your collection? Leave your thoughts in the comment section below!

More Information Released About Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

If the game’s panel at Star Wars Celebration Chicago 2019 didn’t give you enough information, Respawn Entertainment video game director Stig Asmussen sat down with website GamingBolt and gave a little more information.

While we didn’t get an actual gameplay trailer, Asmussen revealed some detail on what to expect while playing the game. He says that the game will focus on a smaller cast of characters (many of the characters we haven’t been introduced to as of yet), with Asmussen likening to a “man vs wild story”.

“We do have more characters to reveal,” said Asmussen when asked about the more “lonesome” vibe that the game’s reveal trailer seemed to give off. “The trailer showed Cere. We knew we weren’t going to be able to make a game that has huge crowds in it. I don’t want to worry about things like creating crowd tech. We decided to make a story that’s more ‘man versus wild.’ That allowed us range to go to different places and explore different places. It’s not just Cal versus the environment, but also Cal versus the elements. To a certain extent, the Empire versus the elements as well.”

The first trailer (below) only gave us a look at cut scenes and gave us a quick look at what the story is going to be about. Hopefully future trailers will finally show us some of the gameplay footage, so that fans can understand exactly what to expect when playing this game.
