Marvel Launches The Mandalorian Comic Adaptation in June!

It seems like this would have been a no-brainer after the first season of The Mandalorian, but better late than never.

Starting this June, Marvel’s The Mandalorian will be an eight-issue, episode-by-episode adaptation of the Disney+ series’ first season. The series will be written by Rodney Barnes and illustrated by Georges Jeanty, with several variant covers available for each installment. For fans of The Mandalorian and Star Wars comic-book adaptations, it’s a chance to experience the events and characters of Season 1 in a whole new way. Marvel Reveals Star Wars: Darth Vader 1 Preview

Marvel has released a 15-page (kind of deceiving, because most are variant covers) Star Wars: Darth Vader 1 preview. Check out a short synopsis and several pages from the book that hits stores next week!

The most fearsome villain of all time returns with an all-new series! Star Wars Shattered Empire #1 Legacy Comics Edition Variant Cancelled

Sometimes artwork gets approved and sometimes it doesn’t, but it is never a good idea to solicit the artwork before it is officially approved.  This is the case for Marvel’s upcoming Star Wars: Shattered Empire #1 Legacy Comics edition variant cover.  According to BleedingCool, the variant has been pulled and purchasers notified and refunded for their orders.

Unfortunately Lucasfilm did not approve of our Star Wars Shattered Empire #1 Legacy Edition Variant and that is now cancelled. We refunded that issue with shipping. Stay tuned for our next Legacy Edition Exclusive.

Adi Granov fans will miss out on this fantastic variant, but Star Wars fans in general need not fear.  There will always be more variants available.  Take a look below at what might have been.
