Recently news started circulating of a new assortment of Star Wars figures featuring the slogan ‘Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures’. The image originated from Demand Toys in the United Kingdom. The image looks to have several rereleases including Chewbacca, R2-D2, Luke Skywalker Jedi Knight, and Darth Vader. Each figure comes in cylindrical packaging, as you can tell from the image below.
The collecting website Yakface.com, took this data and did a little research, finding some very interesting information concerning this line. It appears that Lucasfilm has filed trademarks for the title Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures in several different areas (which you can read about below).
I am not sure if this is just a tie-in or not, or maybe the tagline for a big marketing push to fill in the gap prior to the release of the Star Wars Episode 9. From the looks of things, if everything plays out according to the new trademarks, you can expect toys, clothing, decorations, school supplies and much more!
