PowerWash Simulator 2 Star Wars Pack Announced: Clean the Galaxy This Summer

First-person view of a player using a specialized white power washer to clean a dirty Tatooine moisture farm in the PowerWash Simulator 2 Star Wars Pack.

The galaxy far, far away is famously lived-in, grimy, and covered in layers of history, or in this case, layers of carbon scoring and Tatooine dust. FuturLab, in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, has officially announced that the highly anticipated PowerWash Simulator 2 Star Wars Pack is launching in Summer 2026.

This new DLC promises to bring the meditative, satisfying gameplay of the hit sequel to the most iconic locations in cinematic history. Whether you are a veteran cleaner or a newcomer to the franchise, the prospect of taking a high-pressure hose to a dirty X-wing is a dream come true for Star Wars fans.

PowerWash Simulator 2 | STAR WARS Pack - Announce Trailer

Step into the Plight of a Labor Droid

In a clever narrative twist, the PowerWash Simulator 2 Star Wars Pack doesn’t cast you as a Jedi or a high-flying pilot. Instead, you take on the role of P0-W2, a Class Five labor droid. The campaign follows this humble droid as it is “commanded” to perform various cleaning tasks across the original trilogy era.

The story starts with menial assignments but quickly spirals as you find yourself caught between the Empire’s “dirty work” and the Rebel Alliance’s need for a clean getaway. It is a unique perspective on the Star Wars universe, focusing on the literal “ground-floor” operations that keep the galaxy running.

Iconic Locations and Vehicles

FuturLab has confirmed that the PowerWash Simulator 2 Star Wars Pack will feature six distinct jobs. While all six haven’t been fully detailed, the announcement trailer and press release highlighted three major highlights:

  1. The Lars Homestead: Visit the moisture farm where Luke Skywalker grew up and blast away the desert sand from the iconic dome and courtyard.
  2. The X-wing Starfighter: Every pilot needs a clean ship. Fans will get to scrub every inch of the Rebel Alliance’s signature starfighter.
  3. The Super Star Destroyer Bridge: Taking the scale to the next level, players will head to the heart of the Imperial fleet to clean the grime off the bridge of a massive Star Destroyer.

Other teased locations include the icy corridors of Echo Base on Hoth, ensuring a variety of environments that range from scorched deserts to frozen tundras.

New Tools and Features

To match the setting, P0-W2 comes equipped with a bespoke power washer designed to look like it belongs in a more civilized age. This “water blaster” is specifically tuned to handle the unique types of grease and muck found on Imperial and Rebel technology.

Building on the foundation of PowerWash Simulator 2, this DLC supports both solo play and co-op. You can tackle the campaign alone or pair up with a friend to become the galaxy’s second-most iconic droid duo. For those who just want to relax, the Free Play mode allows for up to four players to join forces and clean together.

Release Date and Pricing

The PowerWash Simulator 2 Star Wars Pack is scheduled to release in Summer 2026. It will be available for $9.99 (USD) / £7.99 (GBP) across all major platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and the Nintendo Switch 2.

For fans who have already enjoyed previous crossovers like the SpongeBob SquarePants or Back to the Future packs, this Star Wars collaboration represents the largest and most ambitious expansion for the simulator yet. With May the 4th just around the corner, many are hoping for even more gameplay footage to be revealed soon.

Whether you’re looking to uncover hidden Star Wars easter eggs buried under mud or simply want the satisfaction of turning a filthy TIE Fighter shiny again, this DLC is shaping up to be a must-have for the summer. Be sure to wishlist the pack on Steam, Xbox, or the Epic Games Store to stay updated on the official launch date.
